NY Digital Salon has taken the next (or next few) steps towards really pushing visual music/abstract movies into a more prominent position. The big Visual Music show last year did a lot, and what they're proposing looks to do even more: they're planning to include essays, artist links, interviews, bibliography, and an historical timeline.

Well worth watching to see how this all develops.
