The Space Art Database has a lot of surprising things. It is an online database providing information about the arts related to outer space from the middle of the 19th century until the present.
I know--video feedback already has most of the characteristics of a fractal. But Video Feedback Fractal Genesis explains how to make your feedback look like a fractal in really obvious ways. Interesting set-up that looks to be worth experimenting with in any case. I imagine it would work even better with a reversible mirror so the reflection in the glass would be bright enough to be readily visible.
